I have to introduce you all to one of my favorite little cherubs I've ever had the honor of photographing. I'm pretty sure I've never had to work with anyone (grown or not-so-grown) that hasn't been extremely photogenic. But this little guy is just SO. DANG. CUTE! Seriously! I don't know if it's the curl in the middle of his forehead, his giant blue eyes, his almost incessant smile and giggles, or the beautiful golden light we always end up with, but I get super excited when I know he's up for another session.
His mom had the brilliant idea to get some shots in the snow for his 9-month pictures. We started talking about it in October when we did his 6-month pictures, and we just prayed we'd get some snow. While we missed the 9-month picture mark (he's actually nearly 11-months in these shots) we finally had enough snow and available time to get some shots. And oh man, what great shots they were! We did these shots at Kauffman Gardens so that we'd be able to do some inside where it was warmer and then get outside in the snow, too. Snow boots were definitely required, but Logan was a trooper (and his parents, too!) and it was an all around perfect -- albeit chillly -- day.
Ah! Those eye lashes! How does a little boy get that lucky? :)
How cute is that little onesie?
One of his new tricks -- crawling. Of course, he decided to stand on his own the day AFTER the photo session ;)
The other reason I love this kid -- the faces he makes! I wonder where he gets it from? ;)
